Eyes Wide Shut

A case of "digital amendment"
As you may know, Eyes Wide Shut, was digitally altered for the North American market. Below are the graphic examples of what was altered from Kubrick's original cut. It's hard to believe that Kubrick let Warner Bros amend his film in this way and after seeing the footage, its hard to explain exactly why.

Scene 1: Notice the two digitally amended characters.
Scene 2: Two hooded characters were digitally added to block some activity..
Scene 3: An entire second bench was digitally added with characters to hide some nastiness.
Scene 4: Two mannequin like figures block activity on a credenza.
